Insulated render is the process of adding an external, thermal wall coating to your home, which is used for insulation. This brings various benefits, including energy efficiency, and therefore cost savings, as well as improving the aesthetics of your home.

The insulated rendering process itself includes applying this insulation coating, before adding a second layer, a mesh basecoat. Finally, we render on top of the insulated layer and the basecoat, leaving you with a smooth, decorative finish and a well-insulated, damp resistant home

The external insulation material can be lightweight Expanded Polystyrene, Rockwool slabs, phenolic foam, or PIR board. This choice will depend upon what type of material we are protecting with the insulation, whether it be brick, stone, blocks, or timber

Benefits of Insulated Render:

  • Makes your home more energy efficient

  • Saves you money on the cost of heating your home

  • Acts as a protective layer from damp

  • Low maintenance

  • Can be done in several colours and finishes

  • Gives your home a facelift, adding kerb appeal
